Microsoft Announced 'Windows 10'

• Microsoft on September 28, 2014 announced the latest version of its Windows operating system(OS), called Windows 10, at an event in San Francisco.
• The OS was confirmed to launch 'later in the year in 2015'.
• According to Microsoft the new operating system will run on the 'broadest types of devices ever' and sees the companies various app stores merged into one platform, called the One Store. This will cover all of the company's smartphones, tablets and desktop computers.
• The American technology giant claims that the OS is so advanced that  calling it Windows 9 would have not been right so they have named their latest offering as Windows 10.
